Mercury is now offering 8-week aerial silks sessions with Stacey Kim. Stacey began her aerial arts journey in Detroit in 2011 alongside her daughter, quickly falling in love with the physical and artistic challenges. She trained in silks, sling, trapeze, lyra, and later expanded to hula hoop, fire, silk fan dance, and Cyr wheel. Stacey performed across Michigan, which inspired her to pursue instructor training at the Circus Arts Institute in Atlanta. She has trained at various studios, including Aloft and TSNY in Chicago, and Sandou Circus in Las Vegas. Her teacher training includes beginner fabrics (CAI), Acro Dance (Acrobatic Arts), and Agora Arts in Ferndale, MI, where she gained valuable experience. After moving to Denver, CO, she joined Gravity Aerial Arts as an instructor. Stacey is also a NASM-certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist with a passion for various dance styles, including Afro Cuban, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Ballet, and Modern.
